Wake’s configuration screen is organized into two main steps:
Select a saved filter available to your Jira account. Wake displays an issue count and can show the filter JQL for confirmation.
A filter may be absent when:
Add up to five fields. The five-field limit includes display columns, group-by fields, and numeric metric fields.
Wake intentionally excludes large or unsuitable fields, including:
Wake also requests a small set of helper fields such as Summary, Issue Type, Status, Priority, and subtask information when needed for links and display.
Wake classifies fields for configuration:
Use the arrows beside a selected field to change its position in the Main table. Column order is separate from nested grouping order.
Check Group by this field for a categorical field.
When two dimensions are selected, use the Level controls to choose the outer and inner nesting order. Moving a table column does not change the nesting level.
For a numeric field, choose the supported operation shown by the configuration screen, such as Sum or Average. A metric requires at least one group-by category because the Grouped view needs a category under which to calculate the result.
Wake requires:
After saving, the gadget loads the selected issues and renders the three tabs.
Open the gadget menu and choose Edit. When a Paid configuration is opened under Free behavior, dimensions or metrics above the Free limits are disabled until an active Paid/trial license is reported again.
